Dragons Rally to Nose Past Austin
The Dallas Dragons took Austin pitcher J.R. Mitchell's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Dell Diamond. The final score had Dallas getting past the Desperados, 4-3. Mitchell went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 7. The Dragons now have a record of 48-61 with the win over Austin.

Joe Robinson was 1-5 with a double for Dallas. With one out and the game tied in the top of the 11th inning, Robinson, who is rated as the 14th best prospect by BNN, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Austin hurler Bob Baucke, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Dragons a 4-3 lead.

Robinson attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
