Desperados Get 3-1 Win Versus Dallas
The Austin Desperados downed the Dallas Dragons, 3-1, at Dell Diamond. Stellar pitching by Jason Emary had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who finished 5th in the AC in wins with 14 last year, handcuffed his opponent all game. By defeating Dallas, the last-place Desperados improved to 47-62.

Leo Serna hit a 2-run home run off Pat DeChant in the bottom of the first, which put the Desperados ahead, 2-1. In addition to the homer, Serna had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Emary.
