Brackett Leads Mexico City Past Detroit
Mexico City picked up a win at Gran Estadio Azteca, bumping off the Detroit Giants, 6-0. Pitcher Joe Brackett was a major reason the Aztecs emerged victorious. Sean Ryan earned the save for Mexico City, his 1st of the year. The Aztecs saw their record improve to 26-13.

Detroit had little success against Brackett and his changeup. Brackett tossed 92 pitches over 7 innings for the Aztecs.

"Joe made his pitches," said Mexico City manager Pete Clark.
