Brosch Powers Giants Offense
The Detroit Giants beat the Vancouver Mounties, 11-6, at Mounties Field. Keith Brosch, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. The third-place Giants lifted their record to 20-19.

With Detroit leading 6-5 in the top of the sixth, Brosch hit a curveball from Kyle Rodriguez for a grand slam home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Giants ahead, 10-5.

Brosch expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
