The Mexico City Aztecs extended their winning streak.

Mexico City turned a fine outing from starter John Manship into a victory over the Indianapolis Eagles at Eagles Stadium. The final score was 6-2. Jeff Cox picked up the save, his 11th.

In the top of the sixth, Mexico City left fielder Chris Martinez had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Martinez stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 6-2, Mexico City. For the game, he went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.

"John did a heck of a job," said Mexico City manager Pete Clark.

Now 25-12, Mexico City has won 10 consecutive games.
