No one was more impactful than Chris Dietel in the 6-4 Fountain Hills win over Carolina. Dietel, who finished 4th in the AC in hits with 171 last year, belted 2 home runs. The third-place 23ers now sit at 16-20.

Fountain Hills right fielder Chris Epstein helped the 23ers go up, 5-4, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Epstein hit a run-scoring single off Carolina pitcher Justin Berry.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Dietel told the Fountain Hills Daily. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
