The Syracuse Scorpions defeated the Detroit Giants by the score of 6-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Chris Guardiola. Guardiola went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Scorpions on the day. Syracuse pitcher Dylan Diggs got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ryan Heyer got the loss. The loss drops the Giants to 1-3.
