Behind the hitting of Manuel Rosas, the Philadelphia Marauders stopped the Maine Pines, 3-2. Rosas was 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Marauders. The win gives Philadelphia a season record of 18-15.

Rosas had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a full count fastball from Dave Figley, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Marauders a 3-2 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Rosas.
