Whislters Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Vancouver Mounties and Boston Whistlers.

Vancouver starter Greg Sandlin pitched well against the Boston Whistlers at Whislters Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-4, in 10 innings. With the win, Vancouver pushed its record to 18-15.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Jimmy Jones? The 27-year old shortstop Jones stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Vancouver up, 5-4. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Mounties manager Zaire Hyde.
