The Hollywood Stars converted a terrific effort from starter Victor Trevino into a win over the Syracuse Scorpions at Hollywood Grounds. The Stars won the game by a final score of 5-2. The Scorpions, at 9-24, have lost 4 in a row.

With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Sean Woodcock had a game-changing hit. The Stars center fielder slammed a 2-run single off Ritsuo Matsuoka, making the score 5-2, Hollywood.

Woodcock attributed the win to his team's "hyper resolve."
