Matt Schmid, who is tied for 5th in the AC with a 10.9 K/9 rate, had a strong outing for the Dallas Dragons against the Carolina Crown at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 9-3 win. Schmid got the win, improving to 5-2. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The loss drops Carolina to 9-23.
