Wroten Now 3-2 After Subduing Royals

Mike Wroten, who is tied for 2nd in the AC in quality starts with 4, never let the Royals get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Giants to a win, 4-0. Lee Maher finished the game for Detroit and earned his 4th save. Cincinnati now has a record of 20-12.
Wroten, who was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, threw 99 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.
"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Wroten.
