Fire Victorious at Boston, 5-2
San Francisco and Boston duked it out and the Fire came out victorious.

The San Francisco Fire picked up a win at Whislters Park, taking down the Boston Whistlers, 5-2. Starting pitcher James Dobyns was a big reason why. Boston falls to 21-10.

Dennis Quesada came through with a big-time hit for San Francisco. The designated hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

San Francisco manager Jim Clarke called it "a pretty good win."
