Fountain Hills Wins, 7-6, Over Eagles
The Fountain Hills 23ers topped the Indianapolis Eagles, 7-6, with youngster Jeff Yule playing a key role. Yule was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the 23ers in the win. Fountain Hills reliever Wade McGonigle snagged the win, upping his record to 2-0. James Gibson shouldered the loss. The win brings the 23ers to 18-13, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Fountain Hills got a jolt from Josh Napier. The center fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it brought the house down.

"We took home the win," said Napier. "What's not to like?"
