The Carolina Reapers and Dallas Dragons completed their game despite the rain.

The Carolina Reapers handed the Dallas Dragons a loss at Reedy River Stadium. The final score was 4-1. Jose Lazaro was one of the major contributors for Carolina. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 3 runs and drove in 1. Carolina reliever Chase Lovett picked up the win to move to 1-4. Brad Bixby suffered the loss.

Gregorio Valenzuela had a big hit for Carolina in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Carolina leading 2-1, Valenzuela hit a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Reapers up, 3-1.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Valenzuela.
