Good production from first baseman Pablo Barajas helped the Dallas Dragons topple the Charleston Shiners, 7-5. Barajas went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for the Dragons. Juan Barron got the win, improving to 3-2. He held the Shiners to 4 runs on 4 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 6. Rick Ways closed it out for Dallas, earning his 7th save.

Dallas used a clutch at-bat from Justin Bellamy to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Dragons ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Barajas, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."

Charleston drops to 16-14.
