Sea Turtles Handle Desperados, Grab 7-4 Win
Daytona Beach starter Joe Miller pitched well against the Austin Desperados at Leatherback Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 7-4. Steven Hyatt recorded the save for Daytona Beach, his 3rd of the season. Despite the win, Daytona Beach, now 9-21, is off to a terrible start.

The Sea Turtles got an important contribution from left fielder Art MacDonald, who in the bottom of the third hit a 1-2 fastball to right-center for a run-scoring double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Sea Turtles ahead, 2-0.

"Joe was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Daytona Beach manager Danny Sanchez.
