Juan Ortiz powered the Charleston Sea Dogs to a win over the Dallas Dragons. The final score was 10-6. The Charleston left fielder, who finished 2nd in the NC in stolen bases with 65 last year, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Omar Cons was the winner. In the bottom of the third inning, Charleston got a key at-bat from Ortiz. With two outs, a runner on 1st and the Sea Dogs trailing 2-0, Ortiz hit a 2-run home run.
