Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Stockton Ragin Cajuns and London Tigers.

The London Tigers got a superb performance from pitcher Ricardo Alvarado, but the Stockton Ragin Cajuns still won the game, 5-3. Alvarado threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. Earning his 11th save of the year was Jarred Gangi.

Stockton needed the clutch hitting of Devin Terry to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Ragin Cajuns on top, 5-3. For the game, Terry had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Stockton manager Jeffrey Troke said his team played a "no nonsense" game.

The last-place Ragin Cajuns are 21-22.
