The Vermont Milkmen beat the Sonoma Scorpions, 4-3, in part because of third baseman Kevin Cremo. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Jimmy Martinez, the winner, improved to 3-4. He held Sonoma to 3 runs on 5 hits over 6.2 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. Guillermo Marquez recorded the save for Vermont, his 6th of the season.
Vermont took the lead on Cremo's 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Evan Pullman in the top of the sixth, made the score 4-2, Vermont.
