Vail Tigercats starter Jimmy Redmond was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Cincinnati Bombardiers, 4-1. Rich Sargent closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. The win lifted the Vail record to 24-17.

The Tigercats got a big at-bat from catcher Josh Dunn. For the game, Dunn went 1-3 with a home run. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Vail a 2-1 lead.
