Milkmen Come Back Late, Nip Ragin Cajuns
In a tight contest at Emeralds Ballpark, the Vermont Milkmen edged the Stockton Ragin Cajuns by the score of 7-6. Vermont third baseman Jeff Rick, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The win went to Elias Holguin in relief, making him now 1-4. Paul Stanford took the loss for Stockton. The Milkmen go to 19-17, putting them 4th in the Western AA Coastal Division.

With the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth, Dave Aschenbrener delivered the knockout blow when he hit a 2-run double to win it for Vermont. In the contest, Aschenbrener went 3-5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs.
