Miami beat London in a rain-soaked ballgame.

The London Tigers were defeated, 4-0, by the Miami Boll Weevils at Ballpark of Miami, even though Rodney Caporn pitched well for London. Miami pitcher Ferhat Chiwocha got the win, upping his record to 3-1. Rodney Caporn got the loss.

Bryan Power took London hurler Rodney Caporn deep in the bottom of the sixth. His solo home run put the Boll Weevils on top, 1-0. In all, Power had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Power.

The 5th-place Boll Weevils hiked their record to 16-20.
