The Hamilton Bulldogs topped the Sonoma Scorpions, 6-5, in 10 innings. Hamilton center fielder Nick Schultz, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The third-place Bulldogs now have a win-loss record of 22-15.

Hamilton used the timely hitting of Nick Nunley to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Bulldogs on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We're playing good baseball. We're playing aggressive baseball," said Nunley.
