Romero gets 5 RBI in Mexico City Win
Mexico City right fielder Gerardo Romero had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Chicago Gangsters, 9-5. Tommy LaBiche, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. Mexico City is now 18-12.

Mexico City took the lead on Romero's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came against Chris Zich in the bottom of the seventh, made the score 9-5, Mexico City.

"If it's down the middle," said Romero, "you might as well hit it."
