Bombardiers Suffer 11-6 Road Loss
The Sonoma Scorpions withstood an impressive performance by Cincinnati right fielder Fernando Angulo to defeat the Bombardiers, 11-6, at Ballpark of North Richland Hills. Angulo went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Scorpions improved to a lofty 25-9.

Sam Foster had a big 2-run triple for the Scorpions in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Sonoma leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a sinker from Jorge Santos, who is tied for 10th in the W-AA in wins with 3, and swatted a triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Scorpions ahead, 4-1.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Foster, "and then get after it again."
