Schalow Homers Twice in 10-6 Win
Hollywood Grounds was the site for American Conference action featuring the Hollywood Stars and Tampa Bay Captains.

Getting offensive support from Hunter Schalow, the Tampa Bay Captains topped the Hollywood Stars, 10-6. Schalow hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Captains. The win was credited to Matthew Gayheart in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Chong-hyeon Hyong took the loss.

An inflection point occurred with one out in the top of the third. That's when Captains first baseman David Domina hit a cutter from Chong-hyeon Hyong for a 2-run single. Just like that, Tampa Bay was up, 2-1.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Schalow said. "We did a good job of that today."

Hollywood drops to 16-14.
