The Hialeah Firecats got a magnificent effort from pitcher Matt Sandridge, who kept Sonoma hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Firecats win at Firecats Ballpark. Hialeah, with the win, climbs to 10-21.
Casey Parsons had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Hialeah. He came through with a solo home run to put Hialeah in front, 2-0.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Parsons.
