The London Tigers earned a close win over the Vail Tigercats, thanks in part to Ben Dugger. The London right-hander, who is tied for 4th in the W-AA in innings pitched with 37.1, played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Luis Alcoser notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. The win brings the Tigers to 16-12, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for London. That's when Hector Flores hit a 2-run home run off 22-year old right-handed pitcher Kyle Schroeder to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Both teams played hard," said London manager Jose Torres.
