Capitols Top Milkmen, 3-0, Behind Hercules
|
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Vermont Milkmen take on the Augusta Capitols.
Augusta got an elite performance from starting pitcher Max Hercules in taking a 3-0 decision over the Vermont Milkmen. The save was Kevin Hudspeth's, his 3rd.
Hercules, now 2-0, scattered 4 hits over 8 innings for the Capitols.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Hercules said.
The loss has the Milkmen at 15-13.
