Wachter Lifts Ragin Cajuns to 4-3 Win
|
The Stockton Ragin Cajuns grabbed a win, 4-3, over the Hialeah Firecats at Ballpark of Stockton. Stockton left fielder Josh Wachter was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Enrique Perez recorded his 7th save for Stockton. With the win, Stockton boosts its record to 14-14.
Had Wachter not come through in the bottom of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Wachter hit a 3-run home run. The Ragin Cajuns took the lead, 4-1, and never looked back.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Hialeah manager Garrett Ubersox said, following the tough loss.
