Tigers Lose, 7-0, at Ballpark of Stockton
Ballpark of Stockton was the site for Western AA action featuring the London Tigers and Stockton Ragin Cajuns.

London had no answer for Stockton Ragin Cajuns starter Rick Collins, who flummoxed Tigers hitters as the Ragin Cajuns cruised to victory, 7-0. Collins, the winner, moves to 3-0. He threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk. Bobby Bierman, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.

Matt Liebler, who is tied for 6th in the W-AA in stolen bases with 4, chipped in a grand slam home run for Stockton in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.

"Rick was able to execute his pitches," said Stockton manager Jeffrey Troke. "Simple as that."

With the loss, London falls to 14-11.
