The Hamilton Bulldogs got a strong performance from pitcher Brice Shine, who stymied the Cornwall offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Mariachis Ballpark. Picking up his 3rd save was 27-year old right-handed pitcher Jesus Garcia. Cornwall falls to 15-9.

The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Todd Stevens. For the game, Stevens was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Hamilton a 2-1 lead.

"All in all, I thought Brice pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Hamilton manager Emmanuel Montano.
