Doss, Vail Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
The Vail Tigercats did just enough to sneak past the Vermont Milkmen, 1-0, at Vail Grounds. Vail pitcher Tyler Doss, in particular, had a standout performance. Kyle Schroeder recorded the save for Vail, his 10th of the season. The Milkmen drop to 10-16, as their fitful start to the 2022 campaign continues.

Doss earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Vail. The native of State College, Pennsylvania, allowed just 1 hit, while striking out 9. Vermont hitters did next to nothing against the left-hander.
