The Cornwall Royals soundly defeated the Hialeah Firecats, 13-2, at King George Park, with first baseman Ross Myer a major reason why. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for Cornwall. The winner was John Mills, who threw 92 pitches over 6 innings.
