The Cornwall Royals got a stellar performance from pitcher Mike Revell, who handcuffed the Hialeah offense en route to a win, 5-1, at King George Park. The Firecats, now 8-14 this season, have struggled to play .500 ball.

Oscar Cordova's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant, coming with a runner on 3rd and the game tied, 1-1. The Cornwall designated hitter hit a run-scoring single off Danny Lanzetta to put the Royals up.

"Winning is contagious," said Cordova. "We're looking forward to the next game."
