Ben Dugger pitched well, but the London Tigers still lost the game, falling, 4-1, to the Vermont Milkmen at Ballpark of Oklahoma City. Vermont reliever Chris Fuller picked up the win to move to 4-0. Ben Dugger suffered the loss. The win moves Vermont to a record of 10-12.
Vermont used a big swing from Scott Lehn to get the win. The center fielder walloped a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Milkmen up, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.
Lehn told a Vermont Bulletin reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
