Big Day for Tripp in 7-6 Boll Weevils Win
The Miami Boll Weevils beat the Cornwall Royals, 7-6, at King George Park. Jamie Tripp, in particular, was impressive. He was 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. With their winning streak at 7, the Boll Weevils have raced to a strong start this season.

Tripp had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 1-0 fastball from Jeremy Sufka, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Boll Weevils a 7-6 lead. It was the 5th double of the year for Tripp.

"I like the roll we're on," said Miami manager Bill Murtha.
