The Vail Tigercats defeated the Miami Boll Weevils, 4-3, in Western AA action at Ballpark of Miami. Vail pitcher Jimmy Redmond had a standout performance. The winner in relief was Ismael Resendez. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 3-0. The setback makes the Boll Weevils 9-14.
