Ragin Cajuns Come Back Late to Top Milkmen, 3-1
|
Stockton used a superb performance from starting pitcher Jonathan Lamas to down the Vermont Milkmen, 3-1. The loss lowers the Vermont record to 12-10.
Chad Grant came through with a big-time hit for Stockton. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Lamas.
