Heath Maughn was locked in. The left-hander led the Cincinnati Bombardiers to a 2-0 win against the Hamilton Bulldogs at Ballpark of Cincinnati. The Bombardiers, with just their 7th win so far in 2022, have yet to catch fire.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Cincinnati. That's when Mike Scott, who is tied for 4th in the W-AA in triples with 1, hit a 2-run home run off Dave Combs to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"Heath kept his poise and got the job done," said Cincinnati manager Nick Pauli. "He was outstanding."
