The home team gave the crowd some walk-off drama.

Miami second baseman Bryan Power had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Power was 2-4 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, even as Vermont beat the Boll Weevils, 7-6, in 11 innings. T.J. Hoffarth, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings.

Vermont got a knockout punch from Evan Stowe. The shortstop hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We didn't let this one get away," said Stowe.

The loss has the Boll Weevils at 13-7.
