Springs Propels Scorpions to 5-1 Win
Sonoma first baseman Nate Springs made his presence felt in the 5-1 Scorpions triumph over the Hialeah Firecats. Springs hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Steve Oswald earned the win to go to 2-1. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits, with 1 walk and 8 strikeouts in 7 innings of work. The Firecats drop to 6-12 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2025 season.

With Sonoma leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Springs hit a 3-run home run off Hialeah hurler Adam Mahoney. It was the 4th home run of the season for Springs and put his team ahead, 5-1.
