Boll Weevils Win at Hamilton, 4-3
|
The Miami Boll Weevils and Hamilton Bulldogs played an entertaining game for Mariachis Ballpark patrons.
The Miami Boll Weevils picked up a win at Mariachis Ballpark, topping the Hamilton Bulldogs, 4-3. On the mound for Miami was right-hander Didier Noël. He played a principal role in the triumph. Noël, the winner, moves to 1-2. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 3 walks. The save was credited to Brent Kuest, his 2nd.
Tyler Miles had a direct impact on the outcome. Miles contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning to put Miami up, 1-0.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Noël said.
Hamilton drops to 12-7.
