Ben Dugger pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The London Tigers, despite Dugger's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Miami Boll Weevils at Ballpark of Oklahoma City. Brent Kuest, 4-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. Mike Kelley earned save number 5 this season.
Jason McArthur had a direct impact on the outcome. McArthur contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put Miami up, 3-2.
"I'm not out here to win a beauty contest," said McArthur. "Obviously."
Losses have been few and far between for the Tigers, now 12-5.
