Firecats Come Back Late to Clip Milkmen
The Hialeah Firecats topped the Vermont Milkmen, 4-3, in Western AA action at Firecats Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Hialeah pitcher and Daytona Beach, Florida, native Jesse Tuuri. The winner was Fernando Salas in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jason Phillips took the loss. With the win, Hialeah boosts its record to 6-11.

Fred Pachner delivered a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Firecats. For the game, Pachner drove in one run.

"To get where we want to as a team, we all have to do things out of our comfort zone," Tuuri told the Hialeah Gazette.
