Hying Stars in 11-7 Firecats Win
|
Hialeah right fielder Eric Hying played a vital role in his team's 11-7 conquest of Hamilton. He was 4 for 4 with a triple, 3 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs for Hialeah. Armando Salas closed out the game, earning his 1st save. To call the performance of the 2024 Bulldogs disappointing is an understatement.
Hialeah first baseman Ethan Patton helped the Firecats go up, 5-4, in the top of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Patton hit a run-scoring single off Hamilton pitcher Garrett Nance.
"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Firecats manager John Costa.
