Firecats Rally Late to Clip Augusta
The Hialeah Firecats cut down the Augusta Capitols by the score of 4-3, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Steve Thomas. Thomas went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and was hit by a pitch for the Firecats. Hialeah reliever Armando Salas was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Colby Heim took the loss. The Firecats have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 13 games.
