Getting a good performance from third baseman Walt Lepore, the Stockton Ragin Cajuns defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs, 8-5. Lepore was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Ragin Cajuns. At 10-3, the 2023 Ragin Cajuns have been excellent so far.

With Stockton leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Lepore batted against Hamilton pitcher Cody Weisenberg. Lepore hit a fastball to left for a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Ragin Cajuns on top, 4-0.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Lepore told the Stockton Times.
