Starting pitcher Jesus Garcia gave the Hamilton Bulldogs a rock-solid performance, helping them defeat the Cornwall Royals, 1-0, in 10 innings. Hamilton goes to 8-3.
The Royals had their hands full with Garcia, who overpowered Cornwall hitters while racking up 11 strikeouts.
"Jesus pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Hamilton manager Armando Cisneros.
