Cornwall Royals starter Larry Weese worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Vermont Milkmen, 4-1. The Royals have hit the ground running, raising their record to 8-2. While it's still too soon to talk about Cornwall hoisting their 3rd World Series trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.

Jaime Tate helped out the Cornwall cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.
