Capitols Use Late Rally to Win
In a low-scoring contest between the Augusta Capitols and the Sonoma Scorpions, Bernie Rios was the X factor. The Augusta left-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Augusta reliever Travis Jessie picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Matt Mullins was saddled with the loss. Sonoma now is 4-7.

Augusta took the lead, 3-0, on Kevin Cremo's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Sonoma pitcher Matt Mullins in the bottom of the eighth.

"Bernie did a tremendous job," said Augusta manager Joel Braddock.
