Mounties Field was the site for National Conference action featuring the Vancouver Mounties and Oakland Invaders.

The Oakland Invaders finished off the Vancouver Mounties, 13-3. Much of the credit belonged to right fielder Ernesto Ramirez. Ramirez was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 4 and driving in 5 for the Invaders. Vancouver now is 14-14.

The Invaders got an important contribution from center fielder Pat Marchitto, who in the top of the third knocked a 1-0 splitter to center for a 2-run double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Invaders ahead, 5-2.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Marchitto.
