The San Francisco Fire rode a solid performance from 29-year-old starting pitcher Miguel Berrios to a win, beating the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles, 3-1, at San Francisco Grounds. San Francisco now has a record of 14-14.

Tied up with the Sea Turtles in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Fire got a boost from shortstop Adam Bechdel. With a runner on 2nd, Bechdel saw a 0-1 sinker from Rodolfo Soto and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put San Francisco on top, 2-1.

"Miguel kept his poise and got the job done," said San Francisco manager Zach Freeman. "He was outstanding."
