The London Tigers topped the Vail Tigercats, 4-2, in Western AA action at Ballpark of Oklahoma City. The standout performance belonged to London pitcher and Fresno, California, native Sean Cofield. Cofield got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Antonio Jusino sewed up the save, his 2nd.

Hector Flores chipped in a 2-run home run for London in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

The Tigercats fall to 5-6 and continue their wobbly start to the 2021 season.
